In the PVC tarpaulin industry, this device can be regarded as a low-cost tarpaulin welding tool because it only has one fixed heating stage and an additional cold stage.
Thanks to the device’s convenient handle and renowned industrial quality, the tarpaulin manufacturer has the ability to weld his PVC material with constant heating power and also receives all the benefits of professional and fatigue-free welding
The Robust-L type’s collector carbons can be easily changed from the outside – without opening the unit, as well as with FORSTHOFF manual welding units. Our carbon brushes have a 1,500-hour carbon life and a shut-off mechanism, so when the carbon brushes are exhausted, the motor shuts off to prevent damage to the collector and subsequent repair cost
The heating power of the device is available in 900W and 1500W versions in order to accommodate the 20 or 40 mm wide slip-on nozzles demanded by the tarpaulin manufacturer.
